The IWPPO was born from the need to discuss and find solutions for one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time: plastic pollution in the oceans. Originating from CEMEIA (Congress of Environmental Studies) and supported by CAPES (PAEP Call) and CNPq, our workshop brings together international experts in an interdisciplinary approach.

The workshop combines scientific research, public policies, and technological innovation to address the issue of plastic pollution. With participants from various countries, we promote the exchange of knowledge and practical solutions.
